OUR TEAM

Jennifer Gomes-Lemon
executive Director & founder
I’m deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of others. My journey in the nonprofit sector spans several years, during which I’ve had the privilege of working with various organizations dedicated to helping those in need. This experience has shaped my passion for service and reinforced my belief in the power of community and support.
In addition to my nonprofit work, I co-run a business with my dad, blending our skills and vision to create something meaningful together. This venture has been a rewarding aspect of my life, allowing me to combine professional growth with personal fulfillment.
My path took a profound turn when I experienced the heart-wrenching loss of a stillbirth. This personal tragedy became a driving force behind the creation of The Madd Ox Foundation. My experience illuminated the urgent need for better support and resources for families facing similar losses. It fueled my determination to make a positive impact and provide a beacon of hope for those navigating the deep pain of infant loss.
Through The Madd Ox Foundation, I am dedicated to advancing research, offering practical support, and building a compassionate community for affected families. It is my hope that our efforts will provide comfort, foster healing, and ultimately contribute to a future where fewer families endure such heartache.

Mollie Laracy
FINANCE DIRECTOR
I’m honored to serve as a co-chair of the Maddox Foundation, a foundation dedicated to supporting families who have experienced stillbirth. My journey into this role began with unimaginable heartache—the loss of my own baby, a moment that forever changed my life.
After my stillbirth, I found myself enveloped in a profound grief that felt isolating and overwhelming. I searched for connection and understanding, but often felt alone in my sorrow. However, through the darkness, I discovered a community of incredible men and women who had also faced similar losses. Their stories resonated deeply with me, igniting a spark of hope and purpose.
After meeting Jen, we decided to create a space where families could find comfort, resources, and support during their most challenging times. As co-chair, I am dedicated to fostering this community and advocating for better awareness and resources surrounding stillbirth. Our mission is not just to honor our lost children but also to uplift those who are navigating their own paths of grief.
I believe that through connection and shared experiences, we can create a network of support that empowers families to heal and remember. Together, we hope to transform our heartbreak into hope and create a legacy of love for all families affected by stillbirth.
